The technical challenge of this illustration was to find a way to transfer and use 2d patterns into a 3d environment by transferring colors and lightings from 3d onto 2d patterns.

For this, I used custom c++ shader for Arnold and custom c++ maya tools for creating background in a procedural way. All of the tools used here is part of a custom maya/arnold plugins that I am working for months. :)
